Working on the Parliamentary Estate since 1992, we have been involved in a significant number of refurbishment, remodelling and conservation projects within this World Heritage Site.

The Visitor Centre project created a new welcoming space for visitors to the Palace of Westminster and provides refreshment and lavatory facilities together with a small exhibition area.

The location was previously an open area designed to accommodate waiting Hackney carriages but had been subsequently enclosed for use as a staff canteen with exposed services.

Our design stripped away previous alterations to reveal the original architectural features including stone vaulting and deep window embrasures. A glass lift was installed to provide disabled access from Westminster Hall.
